  • 1/2 cup ripe banana (about 1 large banana)
  • 3/4 cup self-rising flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil (or melted vegan butter)
  • Additional melted coconut oil for brushing

Instructions

  1. Mash the banana into a smooth puree measuring out 1/2 cup.
  2. Combine the mashed banana and self-rising flour in a mixing bowl; stir until lumps form.
  3. Oil your hands and knead the mixture into a sticky dough ball.
  4. Shape tablespoon-sized portions of dough into balls and place them on parchment paper.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C) and spray the basket with avocado oil.
  6. Air fry the donut holes for about 6-7 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Brush warm donut holes with melted coconut oil and roll in cinnamon sugar.
