  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons cake flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer, beat together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix until fluffy.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together cake flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine with the wet mixture until blended. Chill dough for one hour.
  3. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  4. Prepare Filling: Mix together softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cake flour until smooth.
