  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak for 3-4 minutes per side. Add butter to baste during the last minute of cooking.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and whole milk, stirring to combine. Mix in cream cheese until smooth, then add grated Parmesan, shredded mozzarella, and additional Cajun seasoning. Stir until thickened.
  4. Toss cooked penne into the creamy sauce, then return steak tips to combine everything gently.
  5. Serve hot topped with fresh parsley.
