  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (pounded to ¼-inch thickness)
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper (to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ½ teaspoon dried chives
  • 4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley and sliced green scallions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400˚F.
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook diced turkey bacon until crispy; reserve fat.
  4. Sear chicken breasts in the reserved fat with vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Place chicken in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Mix cream cheese with garlic powder, onion powder, dill weed, and chives; spread over chicken.
  7. Top each breast with Turkey Bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered for about 15 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and cheese has melted.
  9. Garnish with remaining turkey bacon, parsley, and scallions before serving.
