This easy-to-make recipe features tender, blackened chicken served over al dente linguine, all enveloped in a rich, velvety sauce that will tantalize your taste buds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp blackened seasoning (or Cajun seasoning)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and season with blackened seasoning and smoked paprika. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium, melt butter, and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits, then stir in heavy cream until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  4. Toss cooked linguine in the sauce until well coated.
  5. Slice rested chicken and serve over pasta, garnished with fresh parsley.
