  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 3 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup chunky salsa
  • 1 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Garlic salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch pie pan.
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat; drain excess grease.
  3. Mix taco seasoning into the beef and pour into the greased pie pan.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, eggs, salsa, garlic salt, black pepper, and 1 cup cheese until smooth.
  5. Pour egg mixture over beef; top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until set and golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
