  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 medium egg
  • Cooking oil (for frying)

  1. Wash and peel potatoes; grate finely using a grater or food processor.
  2. Squeeze grated potatoes in a kitchen towel to remove excess moisture.
  3. Grate the onion and wring out excess water similarly.
  4. In a bowl, mix grated potatoes and onion with flour, egg, salt, and pepper until combined.
  5. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Drop batter by 1/4 cup into the pan, flatten gently, and fry until golden brown on both sides (about 3-4 minutes each).
