  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Olive oil for cooking (if pan-frying)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain, full-fat or low-fat)
  • 1/2 cucumber (grated and drained)
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in a greased skillet.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake meatballs for about 20 minutes until cooked through. Alternatively, pan-fry over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
  4. For tzatziki sauce, mix Greek yogurt with grated cucumber (drained), minced garlic, lemon juice, dill, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
