  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 4 slices cooked turkey bacon
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¾ teaspoon dried chives
  • ¾ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Blanch broccoli in boiling water for about 5 minutes; rinse with cold water.
  3. Grease a casserole dish and layer the blanched broccoli at the bottom.
  4. Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, chives, parsley, and dill.
  5. Sauté seasoned chicken in olive oil until cooked through; add minced garlic and sauté for another 30 seconds.
  6. Combine chicken with broccoli in the casserole dish.
  7. Create a creamy sauce by cooking heavy cream in the same skillet; whisk until thickened, then stir in half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli mixture; top with remaining cheeses and crumbled turkey bacon.
  9. Bake for about 20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
